Anti-poverty group Jubilee Debt Campaign's inflatable Loch Ness "debt monster" was impounded by Scotland Police on Wednesday morning, November 3.

The inflatable was seized in a dawn raid during the COP26 summit and was guarded by police at Govan Dry Docks in Glasgow. Jubilee Debt Campaign aimed to bring to attention via the Loch Ness inflatable stunt the debt crisis facing lower-income countries its exclusion from the debate at COP26. They hope to highlight that there is no climate justice without debt justice.
