Opposing groups of protesters engaged in a tense stand-off last night (November 15) outside the Kyle Rittenhouse trial in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

His supporters, and his defence team, claim he acted in self-defence on August 25, 2020, when he shot dead two people and wounded a third during unrest in Kenosha over the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Meanwhile, his accusers and prosecutors have sought to portray him as an armed vigilante who provoked the deadly encounters that night.

Jurors will begin deliberations on Tuesday morning.
