Video shows the farm animal watching the man sleeping peacefully before he reaches out with his hand towards the animal. The cow responded by launching the surprise attack in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, Thailand.

Onlooker Kritsada Chitcharoen said: "My friend must have thought somebody was trying to disturb him while sleeping so he raised his hands. I was so funny."

The man woke up after being hit by the cow. He had no injuries but was only surprised by what the adopted cow did.
