Heartwarming reunion when Scottish man is surprised by his family at LAX
This is the sweet reunion of Scottish man Darren Campbell with his family in Los Angeles.
"I have been living in Los Angeles for just over 2 years. I live here with my fiancée, Michelle Cisneros, who is from Mexico, and we are expecting our first child in April," Campbell tells Newsflare.
" I was told by my fiancée we were picking up her aunt and uncle from the airport on Tuesday 22nd December. As I waited for her aunt and uncle, to my shock, my mother, Caroline Campbell (who I haven’t seen in 2 years due to Covid) walked through the arrival gates to surprise me and spend Christmas with us here in Los Angeles.
As you can see from the video I’m speechless. My mother will be spending Christmas with me, my fiancée and her unborn grandson!" Campbell said.
"My previous employer Young Guns Container Crew organized this as my leaving present for the business. I worked for them previously in Australia, Canada, and finally the USA, before I changed occupations a few months ago.
They contacted my brother and my fiancée months ago and organized everything without me knowing anything. I was expecting to spend another Christmas away from my family again, but thankfully this year mum is here! She’s scared of flying and traveled from Glasgow, via London to Los Angeles on her own! She’s 57 years old," Campbell said.
