Curiosity got the best of this cute exotic shorthair cat.

Louise Thomson, 45, left a home security camera on her robot vacuum before mounting it and was surprised to watch inquisitive seven-year-old Misty become obsessed with examining the lens.

The team leader from Melbourne, Australia says that following Misty's curiosity provided 'great entertainment', and that she not only loves the camera light, but is very tech-savvy.

Misty is an iPad addict and demands that her owner puts on cat TV. In the video, the baffled cat thinks the fish have gone under the iPad and behind the TV, batting the screens with her paw.

Miss Thomson bought the cameras as a method of security but has found it's more fun watching and talking to her pets.

Her family home is very busy with Misty, exotic cat Professor Pickles and Alfie the Jack Russell.

She says: "I don’t think I’ll be moving the camera as I love getting notifications when I’m out and it’s Misty’s face close up peering into the camera!"
