Clashes between protesters and police protecting Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer led to two arrested on Monday (February 7).

A man and a woman were arrested after a traffic cone was thrown at officers.

Moments earlier, Sir Keir was escorted to safety by police in central London after a protest that was in support of the trucker convoy in Canada.

Protesters were heard shouting "traitor" and "Jimmy Savile" at him.

Last week UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson falsely claimed in Parliament that Sir Keir personally failed to prosecute sex offender Savile.
