Filmed in Oviedo, Spain, this clip shows Ignacio Beato skateboarding down a steep ramp beside a staircase, and paying a heavy price for his actions.
The subject fails to slow himself down after reaching the end of the slope, and ends up going shoulder-first into a bench.
"We were on our way to a concert when we saw a ramp and stairs," Ignacio said. "Spoiler alert: I couldn't go to that concert."
He added: "For those asking, I'm fine. Just need to take some rest."
