"When we came back home after the date and were approaching the door, he kept thanking me for keeping my promise to him from so long ago of being with him all this time, and I didn’t understand why he was saying that," the wife-to-be wrote.

"As soon as he opened the door, I could immediately see all these rose petals coming out, and one of our favourite songs playing, and it immediately hit me. He was proposing!

"As I continued to walk in, I see my parents, grandmother, my best friend, and all his family as well, with balloons on the window that said, 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?''"

Jackie admitted that she completely failed to hold back her tears seeing what was happening.
