Londoners were seen struggling in the rain on March 1 to get home on the first of two 24-hour strikes this week as 10,000 Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) Union members voted for industrial action over a pensions and jobs row.

Londoners were seen struggling in the rain to get home on the first of two 24-hour strikes this week as 10,000 Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) Union members voted for industrial action over a pensions and jobs row.

Naughty passengers were seen jumping queues and entering the bus from the rear doors. Delays in bus services were due to road congestion and services terminating their route early. Taxis were a popular mode of transport with few passing by that were lit for hire.
