Where have we been since closing shop, selling our house and leaving everything in San Diego behind? A little bit of everywhere. For the last two years Liam, Zeus and I have been up and down California Enjoying life the best we can and I’ve been teaching Liam everything I know about the outdoors.

In 2020 my dad passed from a long battle with cancer. We had really short notice and with the help of friends we converted the van and headed north to handle dads business with family and bring his ashes home. When we picked up his ashes in Sacramento we then hit the road again to do a trip my dad and I have always wanted to do but couldn’t. A trip up and down California following historic gold rush routes to all our favorite rivers and lakes. This is a trip we have done several times since his passing and the adventure and nature has completely transformed Liam from a baby boy struggling with autism to a young man with a pocket full of skills who is confident and can go anywhere. Although his autism can make it seem like he isn’t paying attention or knows where he is or what he’s doing at times I assure you it’s the opposite. He is extremely smart and tuned into everything around him and can notice every fine detail that most of us will never see or hear. Can’t wait to see what this kid grows up to be. I have tons of footage from all our adventures and mining trips and will slowly be going through it all to add on here. These trips also have a lot to do with the business. While out there we search for our own materials from downed trees when we can/ are allowed and also hunt for quality gemstones and gold to use as inlay in our woodworking projects. That’s right, all our projects are 100% source verifiable and we mine our own minerals!
