Passengers were forced to make long queues for check-in and security at Airports, including Heathrow and Manchester, due to staff shortages on Friday, April 1, ahead of the Easter holidays.
The Airport Operators Association (AOA) said that many workers in the aviation industry switched jobs due to the COVID pandemic, and delays could last for several weeks.
