Yesterday (April 14) demonstrators took to the streets and occupied buildings at the Sorbonne in Paris to protest the result of the first round of the French presidential election.
Students expressed their concerns over poverty in France, the future of the most vulnerable, workers, and the environment. They expressed their opposition to both Macron and Le Pen arguing neither candidate can address environmental, police repression, immigration, feminist and LGBTQ issues.
