There are many cultural relics and historic sites in Zhuolu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, including 149 ancient buildings with a large number of murals, such as temples and theatres in the Jin, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The cultural protection department organized a comprehensive survey of the murals of ancient buildings scattered in the countryside, determined the location, quantity and protection status, made detailed registration, identified the responsible person according to the actual situation, properly protected them, and prepared for the next protection and repair work.
