Time-lapse photo taken on April 13, 2022 shows ships sailing at the first Marine LNG (liquefied natural gas) terminal in the Three Gorges Reservoir area in Yichang, Hubei Province, China.
At present, the first Marine LNG (LIQUEFIED natural gas) terminal in the Three Gorges Reservoir area has been completed and accepted, and is currently in the trial operation stage.
This project is a pilot and demonstration project for the application of LNG in the waterway industry of the Ministry of Communications, and is an important environmental control project for "gasification of the Yangtze River" and reducing oil pollution from ships.
