'You know it's going to be an interesting day when it kicks off with an unexpected and gripping animal encounter.
Captured on Mike Piera's home security camera, this clip shows his unsuccessful attempt at scaring away a wild rodent.
"This woodchuck set off my security camera as he was peering in my basement, so I went out to see him and he was being quite feisty," the filmer shared.
Mike's idea of throwing stuff at the groundhog to make it go away backfires at first when he sees the animal running toward rather than away from him, at which point he rushes back inside.
