Dragonfly nymph moults to emerge as an adult and take first flight, Kent, UK
This dragonfly nymph was seen climbing the leaves of an Iris flower in a garden wildlife pond in Sevenoaks, Kent, UK. Over the next 3 hrs it slowly emerged from its last moult to become a fully fledged adult dragonfly and fly away.
