Protesters invaded the Prime Minister's office in Sri Lanka amidst the prevailing economic crisis in the country.

The incident happened in the Colombo district on July 13.

Visuals showed a huge crowd gathered outside as well as inside the Prime Minister's office. Some of them were seen holding the Sri Lankan national flag. They were screaming and shouting continuously.

A protester was seen removing a few frames from the wall.

With Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and President Gotabaya Rajapaksa agreeing to resign from their positions, the protesters who stormed the latter's office on Saturday were in no mood to leave unless the promises were fulfilled.

The protesters have been camping at the office of Lankan prime minister Wickremesinghe and have vowed to remain there till both the President and Prime Minister resign.
