An unusual video has emerged of a wild whale swimming in Puerto Madero harbour in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The footage, shot by a by-stander on Monday, shows the 6 meter long marine mammal surfacing in the waters of the port.

According to local reports the whale, that is believed to be a Minke whale or a young humpback whale and lives in salt waters, got lost and could not find its pod.

The creature was later lured by authorities out of the marina into the Rio de la Plata that feeds into the ocean.

El lunes 3 de agosto de 2015 apareció en la zona del Dique 4 del Barrio de Puerto Madero (Buenos Aires, Argentina) una ballena desorientada de aproximadamente 6 metros de largo. La Prefectura Nacional pasó horas realizando maniobras con el fin de lograr que la misma encuentre su ruta al mar y, por el contrario, el animalito comenzó a hacer apariciones cada vez más breves y esporádicas.
