RAW - "World's Smallest" Cordless Drill and Saw
A cool video has emerged of tiny 3D printed working drill and saw in Auckland, New Zealand.
The footage, shot earlier this year, shows engineer Lance Abernethy handling the perfectly functioning homemade tools that he takes out of custom brief cases.
Abernethy explained that is took him 3 days to make each tool, "2 days to design and one for assembling".
"The drill is 17mm high, 7mm wide and 13.4mm long. It holds a 0.5mm twist drill. The saw is 11mm high, 14.5mm wide and 18.3mm long" he later wrote online.
Both tools are powered by hearing aid batteries.
