A man was shot Monday afternoon (August 15) at approximately 1.45 pm near Oakland's Lake Merritt, US. Footage filmed on the same day shows police cars at the scene of the incident.

When officers arrived, they found the male victim suffering from at least two gunshot wounds. They provided treatment until paramedics and Oakland Fire Department firefighters arrived. The victim is now in stable condition.

A suspect was arrested following the incident.
