Emergency officers support and help people affected by the 7.6-magnitude earthquake that struck about 37 kilometers southeast of Aquila in Michoacan, western Mexico, on Monday (September 19).

The quake left at least one person dead. Shaking was reported as far away as Mexico City.

A tsunami warning was issued but the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says the threat has now largely passed.
