Pilot killed in crash in East Hampton, New York
A pilot was killed after his plane crashed on the edge of Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton, New York, around noon yesterday (October 6).
A witness reported seeing the left-wing fall off and spiral into the water, and the plane followed it and exploded upon hitting the water, violently.
The Federal Aviation Administration said that the plane, a single-engine Seamax M-22, went down at around 12.30 pm.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
