March of the Mummies through London to demand better childcare, parental leave and flexible working
Parents and children marched from Trafalgar Square to Parliament Square in London as part of a 'March of the Mummies' on Saturday 29 October.
The march, one of a number around the UK, demanded affordable childcare, flexible working, and well-paid parental leave for all.
Falling on Halloween weekend, the march punned on the double-meaning of 'mummies', with some at the march wearing bandages around parts of their bodies.
