The annual event "London to Brighton Veteran Car Run" took place yesterday (November 6). Participants travelled on public roads in beautiful 19th and early 20th-century cars.

The footage shows vehicles built in 1904 or earlier leaving Hyde Park and driving through Wellington Arch in the rain.

Traditionally the RM Car Run takes place on the first Sunday in November, with the first cars leaving London at sunrise. This year's run is celebrating the 120th anniversary of the Gordon Bennett Race with the first British victory in international motorsport.
