This year's final lunar eclipse saw the moon turn a blood-red colour on November 8.

Footage recorded from Harleysville, Pennsylvania, shows the moon turning a brownish-red tinge as its engulfed by the Earth's shadow.

The filmer told Newsflare: "The full eclipse began at 5:16 am and was expected to last over an hour. At the full eclipse, the moon gave off a copper colour."
