The kitty, named Patrick, has a hard time balancing himself on the thin fence and thus, fails to catch the mouse despite him being just inches away.

Eventually, Patrick gives up and heads back to Florian.

"Before leaving for work, I saw my cat sizing up a mouse, so I went to get my wife to show her the scene," the filmer shared with WooGlobe. "When I came back, the rat had climbed the fence and my cat had started following him."
