Pupils at a school in Priblizhnaya, southern Russia, acted as terrorists during a shocking training drill.

Footage captured on November 17 shows 17-year-old 11th graders acting as armed terrorists bursting into a classroom of 9th and 10th graders.

The armed students shout, "everyone stand up, hands behind head and stand by the window," as they enter.

According to the school's teachers, the exercises were to teach students how to act in such circumstances.

Locals were left shocked by the school's actions causing authorities from Kabardino-Balkaria to check up on the school.

In the secondary school of the village of Priblizhnaya in the Prokhladnensky district of Kabardino-Balkaria, exercises were held - the situation of hostage-taking was worked out. The "hostages" were students of the ninth and tenth grades (15-16 years old), and the role of terrorists was played by the eleventh graders (17 years old).

In the video fragment, people in camouflage and with their faces rushed into the classroom, pointed weapons similar to machine guns at the students, shouted "Everyone stand up! Hands behind your head! Stand up to the window, quickly, everyone!" and herd the children with their hands up to the window, continuing to shout out unintelligible commands.

According to the teachers of the school, actions were practiced during the seizure of the school by terrorists, the role of terrorists was played by eleventh-graders, in their hands they had "training weapons".

This video caused a strong reaction from the public. Many people are shocked.
After that, the prosecutor's office in Kabardino-Balkaria came with a check to this school.
