Urumqi victims candlelight memorial event in Sydney, Australia

Up to about an estimated two hundred people attended a vigil close to Sydney Town Hall, following the deadly fire on 24th November in a high-rise building in the Xinjiang capital of Urumqi, which killed 10 people and went viral on social media. It has been blamed on the draconian lockdown methods enforced by the CCP, as some believe people could not escape the building as it had been locked down. A protester who appeared to be dressed as Winnie the Pooh handed out blank A4 sheets of paper for people to hold as a symbol of CCP censorship.
