No Trousers Tube Ride brings laughter and bafflement to London's Underground
There were bizarre scened on London's Underground network on Sunday 8 January when hundreds of people wearing nothing but underwear on their bottom half took part in the No Trousers Tube Ride.
The event, which is not organised or promoted by the Tube's operator, returned for the first time since the Covid pandemic began.
It has its origins in New York City in 2002, where it was called the No Pants Subway Ride.
While attendees are encouraged to ditch the trousers, organisers ask them to avoid underwear that is small or see-through.
