Aron Dorigo, 32, flew from Athens to Glasgow to surprise his life-long best friend, pint in hand, on his birthday.
Aron missed best pal Jamie Frew desperately and knew that the one way to bridge the gap was a quick flight and a curtesy pint of beer.
Swedish-born Katarina Sjodin, 22, Aron's girlfriend, filmed their heartfelt reunion in a Glaswegian pub on 10 October.
Katarina said: "I was so excited, I almost teared up a little when Jamie realised it was Aron."
