Daqin Railway In Zhangjiakou, Hebei, China

Video taken on Jan 24, 2023 shows the Wangjiawan section of the Daqin Railway in Xuanhua district of Zhangjiakou city, North China's Hebei Province.
The Daqin Railway, with a total length of 653 kilometers, starts from Datong in Shanxi Province in the west and ends in Qinhuangdao in Hebei Province in the east.
It is the first double-line electrified and heavy-haul coal transport line in China, and also the railway with the largest freight volume. Over the past 30 years, the technology of Daqin Railway has continuously broken through the original designed transportation capacity, and formed a set of world-leading heavy-haul transportation technology system with independent intellectual property rights.
One train is 2.6 kilometers long and has a load of 20,000 tons. It takes more than 800 20-ton heavy trucks to pull the train once. It takes an average of 12 minutes for a heavy-haul train to depart, which is the highest density of heavy-haul train delivery on a single line in the world.
