This drummer noticed smoke coming from his on stage monitor and quickly realised that his equipment was on fire.

Adam Breeze was playing a show with Wargasm in Nagoya, Japan on February 2nd, when he felt an unusual increase in temperature behind him where his on stage monitor was sitting.

He turned around and noticed smoke rising from a place where there should be no smoke and quickly realised that the monitor was on fire.

Whilst the band was in the middle of a song, Adam was trying to point out to other stagehands and technicians that there was a fire on stage.

It took several shouts to the people off-stage to get their attention, all the while playing along to the song perfectly.

The stage hands were Japanese and therefore not able to understand English straight away.

A few technicians we able to pour water over the monitor to put the fire out but unfortunately the equipment was ruined.

Adam believed that the cause of the fire was due to the sub being turned up too loud and causing the coils to heat up due to the demand of the output, eventually staring the fire.

The video was posted to TikTok where over 4 million people viewed the unfortunate incident.

Adam said: "I think the fire was caused driving the sub too loud, coils heat up and caught alight.

"The sub was completely broken and they had to pour water over it to put the fire out.

"My ass was on fire.

"I know now 'fire' in Japanese."
