US: Blizzard Warnings Issued As Major Winter Storm Sweeps Sierra Nevada 2
Another major winter storm swept into the U.S. West Coast, bringing heavy snow to the Sierra Nevada and northern California on Tuesday, February 28.
The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning as 7 feet of snow is expected. The agency also said travel would be "extremely difficult to impossible" with extended road closures.
