Canada: Prescribed Burn Gets Out Of Control Near Banff, Alberta
A prescribed burn went out of control on Wednesday, May 3. Parks Canada said they they were battling the flame as it was extending rapidly. The Trans Canada Highway stayed open, but people were warned to avoid the area. The Banff Rocky Mountain Resort was under evacuation.
