Info from Licensor: "A moray eel attacked me while I was scuba spearfishing with my brother off of Key West, Florida. Usually, eels don't really come out of their rocks, so I was shocked when this one started swimming full speed and chasing after me. Luckily my brother had his speargun loaded and was nearby to help me out, shooting the eel as it was viciously attacking my feet. The eel ended up twirling for a few minutes, biting at the spear before the spear dislodged, and he swam back to his rock. I'm thankful my brother was there, as I have no idea how this would have ended had he not backed me up. I have been bit by an eel before in the hand and received 6 stitches, which is actually pretty lucky. I know there are reports of eel attacks that have turned out much more serious."
