A Belgian man faked his own death to find out who of his friends and family truly loved him, by showing up to his own funeral in a helicopter.
David Baerten, 45, planned and executed the fallacy of his own death with his wife and children who took to social media to share the fake news.
At the beginning of June, the 'funeral' took place near Liege, Belgium, a place for those who loved David to gather whilst he made his appearance from a helicopter.
Thomas Fraut captured the moment that a 'dead man' walked again as he alighted from the chopper to the shock of all of the grieving party.
More mourners were captured embracing and sobbing at the sight of David which has gathered millions of views on TikTok.
