The Zurich Zoo in Switzerland proudly presented two adorable Chilean flamingo chicks, with more expected to hatch soon.

The newly hatched chicks were shown bonding with their parents and the rest of the flamboyance. The zookeepers used an incubator to protect the eggs from local crows and later returned them to their parents' nests. The zoo plans to create a new aviary for endangered species.

The Chilean flamingos have been residing at the Zurich Zoo since 1951 and are listed as 'Near Threatened' on the IUCN Red List. The current colony consists of 63 birds, and the zoo participates in the EAZA Ex-situ program.

More hatchings are anticipated in the coming days or weeks.
