A cat lovingly presented its owner, Andrea, with a precious gift—a tiny field mouse baby. It seemed as though the feline desired his owner to take on the responsibility of caring for this delicate creature.

Without hesitation, Andrea, from South Africa, embraced the newfound responsibility, offering the little rodent a warm and welcoming home, complete with nourishment and care.

"He released it and was so gentle that the baby had no injury. It was so cold outside that I didn't have the heart to throw it out, so I started feeding it", Andrea told Newsflare.

The cat's owner said the tiny mouse is now in good hands.

"I fed him overnight and the next day I called the local wildlife people to take it, as I am not experienced with little mice like that", Andrea said.
"They are very sensitive creatures".

The footage shows the man hand-feeding the baby mouse. The cat's owner provided Newsflare with pictures of the tiny rodent sleeping on his tummy while watching TV, as well as one showing the cat that caught it.
