A wildlife removal worker filmed as he ventured into a house that was infested with thousands of bats.

Recorded in Little Rock, Arkansas, the video shows the guy walking into the building before panning the camera up to reveal huge groups of bats clinging to the ceilings and walls.

The filmer said: "I own a nuisance wildlife removal company in Little Rock, Arkansas. My friend, who also is a nuisance wildlife operator, wanted my opinion on how to handle this situation with the best care and functionality to the building where these bats would not return.

"When I arrived, this is what we found in this old abandoned building. There are probably thousands of bats in this building alone with an excessive amount of faeces to clean up.

"We have completed a thorough inspection of this building and have submitted a plan to the owner to where he is making a decision on what to do next. We are waiting to hear back from him for further details."
