"It’s me, Luke Fuentes (MellowChai) in the video. I promised on social media a 'hurricane special' for my music. On the day of the hurricane, I went outside because the rain wasn’t coming onto my balcony, but you could see the trees and the sky perfectly with the rain and I thought it made a perfect, scenic picture for my style in music. About 2 minutes into my 8th take, Ojai had a 5.5 earthquake. I’m located in Camarillo (approx 25 mins away) and it shook and swayed my whole building. It was kind of nuts! Everyone started calling it a 'Hurriquake.' This all took place on August 20th, 2023, at around 2:40 pm in Camarillo, California."
