Spain: Protest Against Luis Rubiales In Plaza Callao, Madrid 2
Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at Plaza Callao in Madrid to show solidarity to Jenni Hermoso and to protest Royal Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales on Monday, August 28.
Rubiales kissed Hermoso during the awarding ceremony of the FIFA Women's World Cup Championship game where Spain beat England. Despite calls for his resignation, Rubiales remains defiant.
In this video, demonstrators can be heard chanting "champions, champions (in Spanish)" to show support for Hermoso and the Spanish women's football team.
