Color Paint Party After The Race in Belfast
The first Dulux Color Run™ has taken place in Belfast today. The global event has just recently launched in the UK and Belfast was one of the first cities to host the event.
The Color Run™, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique color race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community.
According to organisers over 60% of Color Runners are first-time 5k runners and the event is getting significant recognition with the growing national focus on improving health and wellness.
“We call The Color Run the ‘Happiest 5K on the Planet’ because our events bring together friends and family in a unique, healthy, and fun environment,” said Travis Snyder, founder of The Color Run.
I spoke to Laura, aged 23, from Newtownards who participated in the event and she had this to say after the race "It was just an unreal experience and the friendliness of everyone was something I have never experienced before. I would definitely do it again next year."
