Pro-Israel protesters hold anti-BBC rally outside HQ, a day after pro-Palestinian protesters did the same

Pro-Israel protesters held a rally outside the BBC's London headquarters, complaining about its use of the term 'militants' rather than 'terrorists' for Hamas.

The day before, pro-Palestinian protesters also gathered outside the BBC to complain it was biased against their cause.

The BBC, like many news organisations, typically prefers the morally neutral term 'militants', since it accurately describes the violent methods of the groups in question without getting bogged down in contested debates over definition, which it argues it would have to get involved with in all cases if it did so in one.

However the protesters held up signs suggesting the moral case is clear: 'If the King can call Hamas terrorists, so can you'.
