US: At Least 7 Dead After I-55 Vehicle Pile-Ups Near New Orleans Due To Super Fog 2
At least seven people were dead, two dozen were injured, and more than 150 vehicles were damaged in multiple crashes on Interstate 55 near New Orleans on Monday morning, October 23, as 'Super Fog,' an extremely dense fog, hit the region, reducing visibility to near zero.
Interstate 55 was closed in both directions between Ruddock and Manchac. State Police said they believe there may be more deaths to report.
