In a coordinated effort directed by the ISA, IDF soldiers and Israel Border Police forces carried out a highly effective counterterrorism operation in the Jenin camp. The operation resulted in the neutralization of armed terrorists, the apprehension of wanted suspects, and the discovery and destruction of weapons and explosives.

During the operation, forces engaged in a firefight with armed terrorists, resulting in the elimination of over ten terrorists and the arrest of more than 20 wanted suspects, including Nur and Minur Salma, members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The seized weapons included two M-16 rifles, a "Carlo" gun, three handguns, ammunition, and military equipment.

Additionally, IDF soldiers located and demolished an underground tunnel shaft containing ready-to-use explosive devices. Further searches led to the discovery of additional weapons, ammunition, and military equipment in a building.

In a separate incident, IDF soldiers confronted and neutralized a terrorist who fired at them, seizing his M-16 rifle and cartridges. They also destroyed a vehicle that contained weapons.

In a significant development, IDF drones identified an armed terrorist cell that posed a threat to the soldiers in the area. In response, IDF engaged and eliminated several terrorists through a targeted strike.

The successful operation highlights the ongoing efforts of the IDF to combat terrorism and maintain security in the region.
