A Gaza surgeon was inconsolable after losing his own son during an operation at Nasser hospital in Khan Yunis on Tuesday 21 November.
His tragic loss came during an operation in which he had to amputate his own son's leg without anaesthesia.
Despite his efforts, he failed to save his son's life, medical authorities said.
