A couple returned home from church in Des Moines, Iowa, to discover their poodles, Quiz and Pheobe, had managed to sneak into the closet and uncover the cache of Christmas presents intended for them.

The couple found the poodles proud of their discovery. Fortunately, the pets remained safe and refrained from consuming any items they were not supposed to.

Ky, the filmer, told Newsflare: "They actually took only the bag with their toys in it! Thankfully they didn’t take anything else, I had other bags in the closet with candy for my sons stocking. That bag was untouched... Quiz (the blonde), loves tennis balls (any kind of ball honestly) so you can see those were probably destroyed first and then they ate all of the collagen bones. We were gone for church for less than 2 hours I have no idea how they ate them that fast."

We came home from church to find that our poodles snuck into the closet and found their stash of Christmas presents! They were so proud of themselves. Thankfully they’re safe and did not eat anything they weren’t supposed to, but we learned to double check next time to make sure all bedroom doors are closed. Merry early Christmas to them!
