Amid the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army escalated its raids, notably in Khan Yunis, attempting to advance through military vehicles amidst clashes with Hamas members. In the past 24 hours, these raids resulted in 250 deaths and over 500 injuries, pushing the total casualties since October 7th to 20,674 dead and 54,536 wounded. Most hospitals, particularly in the north, lie in ruins, leading to a staggering 350% bed occupancy in southern Gaza hospitals. Medical teams are overwhelmed, facing hundreds of critical cases and severe burns without adequate resources. With 23 northern Gaza hospitals non-operational, 9,000 individuals have died due to the lack of necessary treatment. Unfortunately, without proper care, the death toll among the wounded is anticipated to increase.
