An amusing video has emerged from the US of a puppy watching the X-Files and paying very close attention.

The footage, filmed in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, shows the half labrador half husky dog called Darcy watching an episode of the show.

According to the filmer, she doesn't normally sit still for a more than a second, but the X-Files changed that.

He later wrote online: "I realised every time I was watching an episode of the X-files, my apartment in downtown Dallas would get very quiet.

"She (Darcy) will come and sit next to me and intensely watch the entire episode."

"I just decided to record her on my phone one day and realised that she is enamoured with the sound effects and the music on the show," he continued.
