A storm rolled across much of Utah on Wednesday, February 7, bringing rain and heavy snow. Weather authorities said the storm could last through Friday.

An avalanche warning was issued for southwest and central Utah mountain ranges through Thursday morning on top of winter weather advisories for mountains across the state. Valley areas in the north also saw rain turn to snow due to cold air moving in.
